Posturcise™ assists massage and manual therapists in several ways. Most soft tissue dysfunction has some underlying posture or biomechanical dysfunction which supports it. This holds true for hypertonicity, trigger points, fascial tension, muscular imbalance, osseous misalignment, and of course joint hypo and hypermobile dysfunction.
Whether the initial mechanism of soft tissue dysfunction was a macrotrauma (slip, fall, accident), or a repetitive microtrauma (posture or asymmetrical movement habit), the end result is the same- the involved soft tissue was exposed to a stress that it was not conditioned to handle, and dysfunction ensued.
Whether you are a massage therapist, structural body worker, physical therapist, chiropractor, osteopath, cranio-sacral therapist, or movement instructor, Posturcise ™ will improve your results with clients and patients by identifying and correcting the underlying posture and movement problems that are contributing to their soft tissue dysfunction.
Our courses teach you how to analyze and correct your client's unique posture and movement faults through a full-body approach which includes: muscle balance, joint stability, integrated function, fascial tensions, compensatory patterns, and how these result in predictable areas of soft tissue stress. You become a master of determining what mechanical issue is contributing to your patient/client's specific problem.
By teaching your patient/client how to correct their posture and movement, you will be improving your soft tissue therapy outcomes. Your treatments will last longer, results will come quicker, and patient/client satisfaction and referrals will soar to new heights. Posturcise™ offers your business an entirely new avenue to grow in, and expands your good work.
You can include your Posturcise™ training as part of a typical treatment visit, or as a separate service. Posturcise™ is billed as neuromuscular re-education (97112) and therapeutic exercise (97110) CPT codes for insurance re-imbursement. It may also be billed to the non-insurance coverage patient/client as a separate personal training or rehab service.

MATCHING SOFT TISSUE DYSFUNCTION WITH POSTURE & MOVEMENT
IMPROVING MT TECHNIQUES
Besides learning how to identify and correct your patient/ client's posture and movement, the system also teaches how Posturcise™ can be incorporated into your favorite soft tissue treatment techniques for super-charged massage and manipulative effects. You can actually make your bread and butter techniques more effective before you even teach an exercise.
Posturcise™ identifies the biomechanical faults that are responsible for soft tissue dysfunction. These faults include: altered length-tension relationships, altered force couples, synergistic dominance, inhibition and over-active joint stabilizers, compensatory muscular overload, areas of reciprocal inhibition and arthrokinetic inhibition, altered proprioceptive induced reflexive motor activity, neural up and down regulation, and incoordinated movement. Corrective exercises are introduced along a Fitts model to correct all of these issues and enhance proper reflexive neural and muscular control of posture and movement.
Come and join the cutting-edge therapists who use Posturcise™ to enhance their therapy, outcome results, and business success.
